Dumping in the City of Yonkers is illegal

Under the Section 91-38 of the City Code, there is a minimum of $5,000 per violation for illegal dumping. Additionally, vehicles that unlawfully dump will be impounded immediately and subject to forfeiture proceedings. The City also offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who reports a case of illegal dumping in which a conviction is made.
