Message from the Mayor

As students prepare for the start of the new school year, many parents, especially those with more than one
child in school, are overwhelmed by the cost of purchasing new backpacks and school supplies.

That's why we are holding our 12th Annual Backpack to School Donation Drive, held in partnership with Yonkers Public Schools and various sponsors. We have set up drop-off location boxes throughout the City, and the Drive will run through August 20^th.

I encourage all Yonkers residents and businesses to once again donate to those students and families in need.

Drop-Off Locations

Backpacks and school supplies may be dropped off at the following locations during regular business hours.

Yonkers City Hall – 40 S. Broadway (Until Friday, August 18th)

Riverfront Library - 1 Larkin Center

Grinton I. Will Library - 1500 Central Park Avenue

Crestwood Library - 16 Thompson Street

All four Police Precincts
