The Yonkers Animal Shelter is constantly looking for volunteers to assist with the caring of our “Future Pets.”

The shelter houses over 170 pets, which require mental and physical stimulation. We need volunteers to exercise, walk and give attention to our pets. We also need volunteers to help fund raise and publicize our pets.

If you would like to volunteer, please stop by the shelter and fill out a Volunteer Application. Upon approval of your application a representative from our Volunteer Group will call you to discuss your assistance.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
