The Yonkers Police Department and Police Athletic League have teamed up to provide clothing for families in our community experiencing financial hardship or crisis.  Residents “shop” in our Community Closet for a week’s worth of clothing, including a coat and shoes at no cost.

The Community Closet is located within the Yonkers Police Athletic League and is by appointment only. Community Closet events and requests will be made available based on clothing inventory and appointment availability. 

The Community Kids Closet is located within the Yonkers Police Athletic League facility at 127 North Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701.

How to Donate

Help us address clothing and school supply insecurities that affect Yonkers children!

We accept new and gently used clothing, coats and shoes. Toiletries, socks, underwear; backpacks and school supplies must be new.

Donations can be dropped off anytime at the Yonkers Police Athletic League located at 127 North Broadway.
